What to consider when choosing a chair for back support
There are a few non-negotiable features that a good office chair should have if you want it to provide adequate back support.
- Adjustable tilt: the tilt of the chair shell (seat and back) should be adjustable.
- Adjustable backrest: the recline of the backrest should be adjustable.
- High back: the backrest should be a sufficient height to support the whole back.
- Lumbar support: the backrest should have built in lumbar support.
